This coffee is produced using water and a natural compound of Sugarcane Molasses resulting in a complexity and sweetness not typically expected in a decaffeinated coffee. The process is commonly known as the natural ethyl acetate (NEA) process or sugarcane decaffeination process. Overall, the ethyl acetate process is considered a more natural and gentle way to decaffeinate coffee beans compared to chemical solvent methods. It allows coffee drinkers to enjoy coffee with reduced caffeine content while maintaining much of the original taste and aroma.
