About This Coffee
Sourced from smallholder farmers delivering to the Kiangai Factory within the Kibirigwi Cooperative, this lot represents the best of Kenya’s high‑elevation terroir. The washed process enhances clarity and sparkle, while our light–medium filter roast brings out layered fruit notes and a silky mouthfeel.

Producer Story – Kiangai Factory, Kirinyaga
The Kiangai Factory is part of the Kibirigwi Farmers’ Cooperative Society, located in the heart of Kirinyaga — one of Kenya’s most celebrated coffee‑growing regions. Producers hand‑pick ripe cherries and deliver them daily for sorting, washing and drying under strict quality control.
The region’s volcanic soil, cool nights and high altitude contribute to the intense sweetness and acidity that define top‑grade Kenyan coffees.
Washed Processing Method
- Hand‑picked ripe cherries
- Float‑sorted for quality
- Depulped and fermented in fresh water
- Thoroughly washed and graded
- Dried on raised beds for 10–14 days
